Based on a popular American comic strip, this irresistible family show tells the enchanting story of little orphan Annie - and her lovable dog, Sandy. Its a heart-warming rags-to-riches journey set during the Depression. Abandoned on the steps of a New York orphanage run by the tyrannical Miss Hannigan, plucky Annie discovers a happier life when she is selected to spend a short time in the luxurious residence of wealthy industrialist Oliver Warbucks. But Miss Hannigan and her evil brother have other plans for Annie... With a cast that features a number of talented children (plus a cute dog) and a score that includes such memorable hits as Tomorrow, its little wonder that Annie has proved such an enduring family favourite.
